There was a large cemetery midway that was quite old with headstones from the early 1900's

Bondi Beach

Today we arrived in Bondi Beach after a quick 30 minute uber from Sydney’s downtown. We opted to spend the bulk of the day on an 8 mile hike exploring the coastline. This coastal walk was fully paved, with stops on many scenic bays.

We found it super interesting that almost every coastal bay had a stone pool, being fed by the ocean. These were often free to enter and swim in! We also saw a ton of surfing, with many hot spots with big waves.

At the halfway point on our coastal walk, we grabbed dinner at a fun Thai spot in Coogee called Sugarcane, and then turned around for our four mile return trip.

Finally we called it an early night, with some planning for Thailand back at the hotel.Read more
