Further exploring Amsterdam

Today we continued our exploration of Amsterdam, visiting the STRAAT Museum and enjoying dinner with the family.

We started our day with coffee at Nicole’s before heading to a local sandwich spot for lunch. We headed to William’s office after, and checked out the space while dropping him off a sandwich.

Next we walked through Amsterdams red light district on our way to the ferry building, from which we headed to the STRAAT Museum of street art. This museum was massive, and was a converted ship building facility filled with huge murals painted by various artists. We explored the facility at length, and really enjoyed the varying art.

After the art museum we explored town further, grabbing drinks at a local Dutch spot that served Bitterballen(a family favorite Dutch appetizer consisting of fried curry balls dipped in mustard). At this point we split off from the group and grabbed a pizza dinner with William, Nicole, and Billie, before rejoining our friends at a darts bar where we got a ton of games in.
