We went all the way down to Quezon City to check out the Tales of Illumina, an interactive museum with plenty of Instagram worthy shots. It was also themed in such a way that it included plenty of Filipino folklore such as the classic tales of Ibong Adarna and Florante at Laura. It had various depictions of enkanto and included interesting trivia on beings such as the kapre, tikbalang and the mananaggal. It even had information of the old gods. The rooms were constructed very well, from the lantern forest, snow castle, and even a potions bar. They had a kaleidoscope room and even an acrobatics and dance show with full on trapeze and aerialist action. It was well worth the journey even though we were going island hopping the next day .
At night back at my place we watched some Love, Death and Robots as well as Joseph: the King of Dreams before crashing in the living room while waiting for our ride to Pangasinan.Read more
