For the final leg of our weekend adventure, the bus stopped at Matsumoto so we could see the lights and sound show happening at Matsumoto Castle.

The group sort of just started to split up as they got down, some people were a bit lost and had no idea where to go so I grabbed Arvin and Roy and led them to the castle which no surprise we were the first ones to reach.

It was dark and there were illuminations happening all around but the main highlight was Matsumoto Castle. The whole castle was painted in a variety of lights depicting various scenes, my favorite was when the flurry of pink petals all fell down and transformed into cherry blossom trees with the moon high above the castle towers.

We didn't have much time to spend here but it was also way too dark to see anyone else and I actually didn't know the way back so we waited until we spotted some group members and headed back together.
