Lisa wanted to go some place to see some autumn foliage, after some back and forth we went ahead with Nikko. Coming with us was another girl named Lisa and Momo.
We drove for almost 3 hours to get to the trailhead of Mt. Nikko-Shirane. We had to use a ropeway to go up to the trailhead. The hike was cool under the canopy of trees, yet we were also wary after being warned of bear sightings near the area. The hike took us pass the forest until it was all rocky outcrops. The views were exquisite though, featuring several lakes and ridges. We also got back on time for the ropeway back down before it closed and even had some time to use the footbaths with views of the sun setting down on golden-hued trees.
We drove back and stopped by a seafood restaurant and played some Uno while waiting for our order before continuing to our hotel where we had just enough time for a quick dip in the onsen.Baca lagi
