• Moorea- Snorkeling & Other Fun

    Wow. Another great day. I patted a sting ray, saw sharks, snorkeled through another coral garden, cracked a coconut, squeezed coconut milk, made ceviche, learned how coconut palm leaf hats are made, saw many ways to tie a sarong/pareo, and had an overall terrific day. Our boat driver was Wilfred, whose Tahitian name is Makiroto. He taught us lots.

    By the way- there's very little that's better than a post-snorkel shower.

    Late entry from yesterday- we were so wiped out that we went to dinner early, ate half of our dinner, went back to the room to watch TV, woke up at midnight, and couldn't believe it was actually 6:30 when the alarm went off this morning.

    Interesting fact- English was one of my college majors. I was taught not to write run-on sentences.
