Stonehenge, Windsor

Next stop- Stonehenge. As with other places that I've heard and read about my whole life, I was blown away by actually seeing the stones in person. The size. The questions about how they got there. The thoughts about the ancient people who moved them and those who made them central to their lives. Blown away.

Then to Windsor, where we toured the castle and experienced the town. Sadly, it being Sunday, St George's Chapel was closed to visitors. I was unable to pay respects to The Queen.Read more
