LeHavre-Normandy Beaches

Long day. All the emotions.

Our first stop was in Caen, France. Almost everything was closed, but we stopped in a small cafe, and I successfully ordered -in French- a Coke Zero, a café au lait, and an apple turnover thing (didn't use words- just pointed at it.)

We proceeded to the Normandy beaches. We were there when Greg was 3 and Julianna was 4 months old. I was preoccupied with small children, which blunted the emotions. I didn't have that cushion this time.Lue lisää
