London to Southampton

We bade farewell to the lovely staff at Doubletree Marble Arch, and took a taxi to Waterloo Station. We got to see the sites again .. and noticed the fierce pokie-y fence topper on top of the Buckingham Palace fence.

The train ride to Southampton Central was uneventful, as was the taxi to the Holiday Inn Express West.

Dinner was at a pub/restaurant a short walk from the hotel. Wayne had a yummy steak & ale pie, while I had some chicken strips. And, of course, Guinness.Læs mere
