We had a late arrival, so took the opportunity to sleep in. I peeked through the curtain, and saw that at least the starboard side looked like fjord- high sheer mountain. So we went to the Garden Cafe and saw beautiful islands and houses as we entered the port.

It was another Hop-on-Hop-off day for us, with a trip around the peninsula. It was drizzling, so we opted to stay on the bus.

When we got back to the port, we decided to walk through the town. I found a yarn store that also carried traditional Norwegian dress, handcrafted knits by local knitter's, and other items. I picked up a mittens kit and a wristlet/scarf kit.

Then to a store that sold meats and cheeses. I picked up a piece of brown cheese, a slicer, and some oat crackers.

Our next stop was a nice, quiet cafe where Wayne enjoyed a hot chocolate and a slice of chocolate torte. I had a cafe mocha and a sveler with brown cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices.Leia mais
