    Lassen Volcanic National Park

    June 27, 2015 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Mudpots, fumaroles, boiling pools, swimming lakes, wild flowers, pines and mountains. A fun park without big crowds on weekdays. We hiked Bumpass Hell Trail to see the hydrothermal features.

Reminds me of the Dead Sea. Are there salts here?

Ok, I saw the other photo first. I assume, no salt.

TravelerHaha, I think there is salt but not for bathing. Only thermophilic bacteria reap its health benefits :-)
