Siulaw National Forest near Hebo

Another night of dispersed camping in the rainforest! Different section of Siulaw near Hebo, Oregon. Very secluded here, but 4G is available! This turned out to be one of our favorite camping spots on our trip. Not one car passed by us the entire night and morning. We found a ton of berries (thimbleberries and salmonberries) along the road for miles. This is our older son's exact version of heaven. He is the most enthusiastic berry picker we've ever known, from the time he could walk and talk. Lots of wildflowers too. There is one open area that looks like it was logged recently. Otherwise, it is a thick rainforest with moss covered trees.Les mer
