Custer, An Intact Ghost Town

A ghost town in the Challis National Forest, owned by USFS. We spoke to the caretaker and learned of a route to Challis through the historical road now known as the Custer Motorway Adventure Road! We're going to try that route instead of heading back on the state highway.Read more
