Manchester

Arrived about 7:15 a.m. and went to our hotel to leave our luggage. Walked to a nearby restaurant for breakfast. Architecture is amazing.
Manchester Christmas Markets

After breakfast we walked through a few outdoor markets and shopping areas. Lots of yummy food in the markets! Town Hall was by the first market.
Manchester Cathedral

The Cathedral is old and new. One displayed piece was from 690 AD and some original walls from 1250. The floor, however, was new last year and is heated primarily by two holes drilled deep into theBaca lagi

Liverpool's oldest building in the city center.
Goodison Park, Home to Everton FC

Some shots outside the stadium, which was built in 1892 and is one of the world's oldest purpose-built football grounds. We ate at the restaurant before the tour.
Goodison Park Tour - Dixie Dean Suite

Lilly was our guide. We had our own personal tour because they had to move our time since they had an unexpected group of school kids come for a tour instead of skating because the ice wasn't ready.
Goodison Park - Stadium

Scenes from inside the stadium.
Goodison Park - The Pitch

Up close to the playing surface after walking out the way the players do.

The Beatles played here in early 60s.

Etihad Stadium - Suites

These suites really were sweet as you can see! However, tickets for this team are actually some of lowest.
Etihad Stadium - Stadium and Pitch

Some scenes from inside the stadium.
Etihad Stadium - Locker Room/Media Area

You can definitely tell these are newer facilities. The locker room is round so there are no corners and all players can easily see manager and each other.
Old Trafford, Home to Manchester United

Tour #2 of the day! This team is a rival to Manchester City. It is the second largest stadium after Wembley in London and holds about 76,000.
Old Trafford - Museum and Suite

They had a huge museum. The suite was small and not as impressive, and I didn't even take a picture of it!
