    We toured Aix-en-Provence today. I’d never been before.

    We passed Paul Cezanne’s birth house on the way into town. It’s closed to the public, though, so we couldn’t go insider.

    We walked by several “hospital particuleur” as they call the fancy old homes, but none of them offered tours of the inside.

    We passed a few churches along the way, as well, but as you may have guessed, none would allow us to entry.

    So that was the theme of the day: Lovely on the outside, but no entry allowed!
