Finally on the way

It takes an hour and a half longer than expected to get out the door but by noon we are finally setting out towards Baja.

We find an adventure along the road which consists of climbing kid peak on the abandoned old road which has turned into a bit of a overgrown single track.

We make it to the ridge from where we could see one of the many observatories that are up there.

The sign by the road said that the road would close at 4:00 p.m. so we actually ran down this climb which took an hour and 5 minutes up 45 down. Only to find out that people were driving up the road at 4:00 p.m. in order to go to the evening program at the observatories and so obviously that road was not being closed, but the workout was great.Read more
