San Miguel de Allende

Relaxed morning with coffee and a nice chat with Anke, my Belgian host. The airport bus didn't go to the airport, so I walk back the mile and a half, but hey it was really cheap!

The app won't let me get a boarding pass, turns out all the Viva computer systems are down and they hand me a hand written boarding pass. Haven't seen one of those since the 1960s, too funny. Of course security didn't know what to do with that and it required several phone calls between officials of the airline and security detail to get me through. Somehow all the other passengers didn't have this issue.

Life is an adventure! That's what I'm asking for and it delivers.

Checked into the hostel and went for a walk in the nocturnally luminated old part of the city.Leggi altro
