The opposite of Mostar, this city is fairly new, near the Croatian border, all Catholic and ethnically nearly all Croatian. It is very homogeneous and prosperous.
Posusje doesn't feel like Bosnia Herzegovina, is more like Austria, Germany or Slovenia. A very strong economy operates here with significant exports to EU countries. This city is not part of the EU or Schengen as BnH has not been admitted. It is odd to have such a vast economic difference in one small region, despite an EU to non-EU border, which causes significant customs fees.
There are unidentified tombs that are still being researched, they do not look like anything I've seen before.Read more
