Great Victoria Street Railway Station

We had a very informative taxi tour through where the troubles started. He said that after a boy and a young, good Samaritan man were killed, there were riots and lots of anger everywhere. The british police were brought in by helicoper to the top of this building to watch over the streets. They couldn't drive in because of the unrest. He showed us the walls, which divided the Catholics and Protestants. Told us what happened and how his house got burned down. We drove through the streets where the check points were on each side and walls went down each side. We finished at the peace wall which we were allowed to sign.Read more
