The US Traverse has officially started with Roga and I crossing the US border at the Blue Water Bridge just north of Detroit.

Sue is still in Toronto and will fly into Rapid City on Nov 4.

The two boys in the pack will make their way to South Dakota for 5 days of Phesant Hunting.

The SuperMobile got a face-lift and we are driving a Ford Explorer for the US Traverse.

Tonight we are sleeping over at a roadside hotel - The Red Roof in Battle Creek

Nach bestem Frühstück ging es bei sengender Hitze aufs Rad. In der Nacht waren wohl Kojoten zu hören, hab ich aber nix von mitbekommen. Ist auch besser so, hört sich nämlich schrecklich an. (YouTube)
Bin dann wieder auf den schönen Radweg von gestern. (The Great Lake to Lake Trials)
Unterwegs eine Bäckerei gefunden, ist hier selten, also musste ich rein. Gab leider nur Süßkram, zwei Stück durften aber mit.
Danach aus Versehen zum Einkaufen im Großhandel gelandet. (siehe Foto) Gab für mich nur zwei Äpfel und eine Gurke. Der Rest waren nur riesige Packungen.
Jetzt bin ich bei Bob und seiner Familie.
Gleich gibt es Reh-Burger, selbst auf seinem Grundstück geschossen.Leggi altro

Journée bien longue ! Passage au Canadian Tire pour acheter quelques affaires et faire des crêpes sur le parking 😂 Car on devait passer la frontière américaine, sans oeufs ....
Ensuite, longue attente stressante pour tous les deux (c'était surtout pour moi toute cette attente parce que je suis française) pour passer les USA. Et beaucoup de route pour arriver à ce joli petit jardin botanique qu'est Leila Arboretum Society! 🌿Leggi altro

Nach dem Frühstück geht es nach Detroit.
Auf dem Weg haben wir den "Michigan Speedway" besichtigt.
Dann ging es weiter Richtung Detroit.
Der Besuch vom Hard Rock Cafe ist ja obligatorisch 😉
Dann hat Doris ein tolles Restaurant gefunden. Den "Grand Trunk Pup" dort haben wir lecker gegessen.Leggi altro

Doris Erler Der Grand Trunk Pub, früher The Grand Trunk Railroad office station. Viele Details aus alten Zeiten. Man kann dort lecker essen und es gibt viele Sorten🍺 Bier 😋
