Good morning!

Early start for us. We all woke up around 5am. So this morning we have been unpacking, having breakfast and playing.

James is napping now and I think Em, Martha and I will also need one later.

Martha loves her bunk bed 🤩

Oh and apparently we had a 5.1 earthquake last night but we didn't feel a thing. 🫨😅Read more

We arrived!! Our long journey here is done. We had a suitcase held up though but it's arriving tonight at midnight...I think we will pick it up tomorrow.

We got picked up by Sjoerd and Tine and drove our car for our stay here, home.

We then had lovely burgers and hot dogs at Sjoerds and Tines house. Kids were shattered so they are tucked up in bed now. Em and I are having a nice cuppa and then we will soon be off to bed as well!Read more

First proper day of sunshine! I started work today at the office as well and Em and the kids had a nice walk around the neighborhood in the day.

Started with a lie in and breakfast in bed (that Martha kept stealing 🤣) and then while James napped and Andy and moo went to church I sat in the sunshine and called my best friend for over an hour and read my book... it was soo lovely... We've been attending the local churches home schooling group which has been lovely for Martha to make some friends.

We've also found out that Americans paint their grass 🙈🤣🤣 I mean really!!
Traveler Haha, ye seen this before in some of the areas where it gets dry in summer months and grass goes dorment.
