Jefferson County Courthouse Historical Marker

This morning we started our 2 day journey to St. Simons Island, to visit with Dan’s grandpa. We started a little later than planned because wiggy needed some extra play time! Who can say no so my sweet girl?! We left Chicago about 6:45AM! Dan and I shared driving the rental car. It’s not either of our favorite car. We put the back seats completely flat and wiggy is having a great trip so far!! 😃 we stopped at the Tennessee welcome center and wiggy had tons of grass to walk around in, and friends to play with! We arrived at our hotel in Knoxville a little before 5. Wiggy ate all her chow😀 and relaxed in the nice AC! It’s about 88 degrees and humid here, not bad. Dan and I walked to have a drink at voodoo to get some exercise and stretch our legs. We brought Mac and cheese from dinner this past week to eat in the hotel and it was such a good idea! 😋 now just relaxing and watching tv before we finish the trip tomorrow!!Read more
