It's a gloomy, rainy day this morning. My biggest fear about sleeping in a truck was being cold, especially with the freeze warning that we got...even though it's supposed to basically be summer at this point... And Thankfully that wasn't much of an issue. Sound was, though.

Because the trainer drives a reefer unit, it's basically one big fridge that we're hauling, so every few minutes, it would almost sound like the trucks engine turned on. There was also some electronic buzzing turning on and off and the expected truck stop sounds going on. Long story short, I had poor sleep, but I'm sure I'll get used to it after a while. Let's just say I'll be grateful for the dry van.

Anyhow, switching out drivers at this gas station, grabbing coffee and making sure that the tandem release is in the right spot so that we know that our reefer is legal...heh, word play.Læs mere
