Platte Township

It started out with an attempt to look for local garage sales. We struck out.

Then we made our way over to Blue Springs to see Gary and Pamela Barden (friends from MBI) and then Bill and Jennifer Hildenbrand who we work with member care. They really loved the grandkids.

We got a note to drop by Phil and Lori O’Day who fed us lunch and had great conversation. We even had a concert by 2 MKs from Russia.

We were down to 1 diaper, so we stopped by the grocery store and supper supplies for a picnic dinner at the park.

Near the Shotts is this perfect playground that we found. The girls enjoyed it.

Next, bath time and curling Elizabeth’s and Annie’s hair. They’re slipping on a pallet in the guest room.

I’ve never done this before: as we were going to bed, Amanda had pooped in her diaper and was still sleeping. So, we picked her up, laid her on our makeshift changing table, aka ping pong table. She stayed asleep! Mission accomplished.Read more
