Lake Michigan Touring Rally Day 4

    September 2 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 73 °F

After lunch at Doc's Emporium 🤣, I continued on to Appleton HD, then a couple of stores to replace the wall charger and cable I left in the hotel the night before 🤦. That done, I hit my hotel at about 15:00, then went to the dinner at Vandervest HD in Green Bay. Wow! What a beautiful dealership!

This morning, I rolled just before 06:00 to get to Al Johnson's Restaurant by 07:15. I took my Wisconsin 50 Rides 1 Nation photo and back tracked a bit to hit dealerships and HD Headquarters on my way to Milwaukee.

I'm making such good time that I'm now stopped for lunch at a wonderful seafood place. Yummy!

So long [for now], and thanks for all the fish! ✌️

    Day 12 pt. 2 - Barree

    July 7, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

The 6:00 show went off without any issues. EWe made it and set up somewhat early luckily. Plus it was just a super fun gig. Madison Slim showed up and watched us but didn’t play. We made a lot of money in tips. I imagine the sax antics plus Andrew holding the bass over his head and me standing playing helped a little.

After the show we ate some food together and then the manager or chef believe booked us at a super weird place called the Chalet something or other. Before we got into our rooms we got some snacks (I got a local root beer and Smurf’s candies). You gotta love the pink tile in the bathroom.

Tomorrow we’re taking Thomas to the airport and then we head to Buffalo. 9 hour drive.

A funny quote form Andrew tonight: “Hey, day you thing in January that in June you’d be sleeping in Nick Moss’ basement?”

    Day 7 - Baree

    September 20, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

It was cool to be back here. We’ve played here before with Thomas. A few people sat in with us on harmonica this time around. A dude named Steve Cohen and anther names Big Al Dorner. Both were pretty good.

The best part of the night was tips. We made a lot in tips. We also tried their Nepalese food. I just got wings because I wasn’t in the mood. Whatever Andrew had didn’t look that good to me and Doug got camel sliders. Weird.
