Had a blowout on the camper, east Colorado about 50 miles from Kansas border. Nothing out here at all. Changed the tire in the breakdown lane of I70 in 98 degrees full sun. Took about an hour and a half total, never saw a cop, no one stopped, all we wanted was a cop to park a couple hundred feet up the road with his lights on. Trucks blowing by at 75 - 80 mph (speed limit is 75). It did some body damage but the worst part was it ripped the propane lines to the stove and fridge out. Drove for miles and hours to find replacements at various rv dealers and repair shops and eventually ended up making what we needed with parts bought at Lowes. We were able to straighten most of the damage and get it somewhat back in place. We now have 4 new top rated Goodyear trailer tires. Discount Tire was great, had the tires in stock and put 3 guys on it to get us back on the road asap. Now to test our insurance company when we get home!Read more
