Goedemiddag....

We left the capital Tunis.
And as a fan of old rocks, we went of to visit Carthago.
The ancient capital of the Punic empire.
But as we entered the main site we almost had a laugh.
After visiting Timgad and some hidden gems in Algeria this does not impress.
So we just have to live with it.

We have been to Carthago.
..
So.. back into the traffic of the city of Tunis, to go to the south.
Driving in Tunisia is almost the same as in Algeria, but now i really miss the polite chaos of order of my Algeria.
The drivers here are impatient en unfriendly, although there is a bit more order.
But again. I might suffer from a version of homesickness.
After we left the craziness of the capital's traffic, we approached our destination Nabeul.
We planned to take a camping here.
Might be nice sleeping in our Lieske again.
As we parked at the reception, a man walked by... Goedemiddag...
Oh yes... Dutch travellers in a Toyota Landcruiser with rooftent...
Why not. It's Tunisia.
..
Walked a bit, sat a while, stroled along the beach.. having a pizza.
..
Hmmm... dreaming of a nice night in my beloved car.
