    We're really enjoying the wide open aspects while cruising the Severn

    The pub moorings we'd intended to stay at were already occupied and another only allowed boaters from its caravan site. However, after several urban moorings in a row, it was pleasant to pull in at the CRT pontoon just downriver of Haw Bridge. It's ramp led directly onto a grassy footpath that cut between the back gardens of some country houses and the Severn. The nearby Haw Bridge Inn was closed so we just enjoyed the peace and quiet.Read more
