    One of the good things about Tassie is that it is not that big. From where we were camped we could comfortably drive to Hobart for the day. A guided tour of the Cascade Brewery, the oldest still operating brewery in Australia was a pleasant way to pass the morning. A paddle of sample beers at the end was refreshing although the raspberry beer has not improved since we last tried it in Avignon. A short drive from the brewery was Salamanca Markets and as it was a Saturday we decided to visit. The rain and wind and Covid mask wearing restrictions had obviously affected the attendance. Back to "Churchill" for the night as we watched the Coal River break it's banks and rise into the paddock beside us.Read more
