Getting to Florence (:

Somewhere in the sky, we decided to forego spending time in Venice and instead head straight to Florence after landing.

To get there, we took a bus (5 euro pp) to get from the airport to Venezia Santa Lucia railway station (Venice island), and then a high speed train (50 euro pp, up to 300 km/hr) to get to Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station (Florence).
