Neuschwanstein Castle (Part 4)

We did a 40 min guided tour of the castle. Ludwig II never had people over, but it would have been a great place to host a royal event. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside except for the kitchen. The walls were mostly decorated with scenes from Wagner operas. The throne room had an amazing chandelier. The throne area had the 12 apostles (6 on each side) and 6 holy kings of Europe. The castle was very progressive. It had some things that were powered by early versions of batteries, central heating, and 2 telephones that people could use to talk to each other in the castle.もっと詳しく
