    Sheep Herding

    We saw a sheep herding demonstration. The man used both verbal commands and whistle commands for the dog. The dog mostly did as it was instructed.....lol. But the dog did a great job of getting the sheep to go where the man wanted.
    They mark the sheep they own with a colour - since we're in Europe, I feel obligated to spell it that way (usually green, blue, orange, red, or purple). They always mark it in the same spot (either neck/head, torso, or backside). That way, there are 15 different combinations.
