    This set of sculptures was created to remember the devastating potato famine. In Gaelic, they don't call it a famine because there was enough food to feed the entire population; the British were just exporting the majority of it. During the famine the population of Ireland decreased 50% (combination of deaths and emigration). The country's population still has not gotten back to the pre-famine level.Leggi altro
