This is the way up. It was a LONG way to walk uphill. We stopped a few times for the kids to rest along the way. The adults, ironically, didn't need the break!

We just left the hotel and we are on our way to Lucerne! The weather forecast keeps getting better! Probably no sun, but not nearly as much rain. I'll take it!
Bus problems 😔

Our bus is having engine problems. :-( We may need a new bus. :-(
ПутешественникFor reference, our bus was having issues when we first got on something with the technical components weren't working. We then got on the road for about 35 minutes until just now the engine started sputtering seems like either a misfire or something in the drive train becuase it kept jerking the bus around. But seems like they are getting it resolved. I WISH I COULD WATCH HIM WORK ON IT 😕

This monument was built to honor the Swiss soldiers who died helping defend the French monarchy during the revolution in 1792.

The Kapellbrücke is a covered bridge that literally means Chapel Bridge. It is the oldest covered bridge in Europe.

We went to the Wirtshaus Taube (Innkeeper house pigeon) for lunch. A bunch of us got Rösti!

Lake Lucerne Boat Trip

We took a boat ride around Lake Lucerne. We were so lucky with the weather. When we looked at the 10 day forecast last week, it was supposed to rain the entire day. Thankfully, no rain!

Our flight from Dublin to Philadelphia was canceled. We are going to be delayed until tomorrow most likely. I'll update once we know for sure.
