Less than 4 hours from Daytona Beach Shores is the city of Savannah, Georgia. It's always been a city I wanted to visit so I scheduled an overnight stay. Hotels in the Historic District started at $300 per night so I found a hotel near the airport which was more in line with our budget. The beautiful city was awash with azalea blooms.
