Arrived in Rome (finally)

It took most of the day to get to our hotel rooms. The drive was long to the Paris airport, it took an hour and a half from touch down in Rome to when we got our bags, our hotel was over an hour away from the airport, and it took a long time to check in. Whew!

We had a great, authentic Italian pasta dinner near the hotel. Then walked along the Tiber River at night, checked out the souvenir kiosks (got a chuckle over the Pope bobbleheads), got some gelato, then walked by St. Peter's Basilica.Read more
