Travel day to Bryce Canyon, Utah

Quite a long day! Up at at 4:30 am and Emily drove us to the airport. Four hour flight to Las Vegas then four hour drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. The drive was nothing short of breathtaking! Mountains, rock cliffs, winding roads - all on a grand scale.

The lodge is very early 1900's but very comfortable. There were nine mule deer grazing by our building when we arrived. There are no televisions in the rooms, but we were invited to watch the World Series game in the employee common area. We went to bed after the third inning.Weiterlesen
