The Narrows

This was one of the most amazing hikes we've ever taken! A one mile hike along the Virgin River then about three more miles IN the river going upstream. Some of it was along the banks because the water level was low. But often we we knee deep going against a strong current.

The cliffs on either side of us were incredible. They were so high that we couldn't get the whole scenery in one picture. We rented water shoes, neoprene socks, water pants and walking stick. It kept us warm and fairly dry.
