Early wakeup call

Having moored stern to the night before we were woken early with a strange movement of Carla. She had definitely liked being alongside, as her anchor had slipped with the strong Northerly wind and current and we were swinging around towards the pier and another boat! Engine on and ee lifted the anchor so we headed off to an old favorite bay in Dakos for breakfast. Very calm and sheltered so Eric decided it was time for maintenance so I hoisted him up the mast to try and run the new cable for the wind monitor. We managed to drop it down but couldn't recover it at the bottom despite drilling a hole at the base of the mast!Leer más
