Evia-Karystos Day 1

As a northerly storm approached we decided to head to a harbour on Evia. Day 1 we hired a car and headed off North to Chalcis, a drive along the very windy coast road up the Petaliol Gulf between Athens and Evia. A good bit of reconnaissance as next season we will sail up this gulf to get to the Sporades. The currents going through the Chalkida bridge at Chalcis were very confused and will make for an interesting passage.Read more
