    February 12, 2024 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

Thanks to Neil and Sue for taking us to the airport and arriving safely on time. A hairy start to the trip, leaving home with only Erics visa! Fingers crossed all would be OK!
Oh no, not the case. As we tried to check our bags in, we were redirected to another desk! After checking Eric in and making plans to meet in Sydney, 2 calls to the Australian consulate, another application done and off we go together!
First flight done and killing time with first holiday beer in Dubai we start to relax! Australia, here we come 👍🌞🏖

Met up with Andrea, Jess, Izzy and her friend Joe who lives locally in the Blue Mountains in Leure. He tried his best to find us good views, but the rain was the winner. Time to retire for an English afternoon tea at The Carrington Hotel in Katoomba before heading back to Bondi.Read more

A long drive today and guess what, yes its sunny today! Stopping off at Corindi beach enroute for a drink and stretch of our legs we saw 2 Kangaroos on the verge - but they were to shy for a picture!
