    Istanbul Farewell

    We walked the main shopping street of Istanbul this morning (Istiklal) so John could buy more t-shirts! Found the LC Waikiki and made some quick purchases. Then we boarded the Oceania Sirena to begin our 2 week cruise.
    Our concierge "suite" on the Oceania is small but comfortable. The bathroom is TINY. Customs was a bit drawn out with a full search (for drugs?) by the dogs. Tonight we sail through the Strait of Dardenelle.    Read more
