    Rio Largartos

    Jan 20–21, 2024 in Mexico ⋅ 🌬 25 °C

After leaving Isla Mujeres we picked up a hire car and drove most of the day to reach Rio Lagartos where we spent last night and did some great birding yesterday and today As I have commented on a blog post the people and the wildlife have proven very friendly. I share some pictures here but if the wildlife is of interest check the blog.

Trip list now up to 217 bird species.

We are now in Valladolid and tomorrow is an early start to visit one of the 7 wonders of the world (as voted in 2007) - Chichen Itza. We are going very early to avoid the crowds.
