Bacalar - lovely Street Art

We are staying thee nights in Bacalar and one thing that is remarkable about this laid back Pueblos Mágicos (magical towns) is the quantity and quality of the street art. Every block has a painting which really brightens up the neighbourhood. We took a walk about this afternoon taking all the pictures in this post, there really are some talented artists here.

We also visited the Fuerte de San Felipe de Bacalar built to protect the town from pirates who wrecked destruction on the town before this 34 gun fort was established (yes there were real Pirates of the Caribbean).Lue lisää
