Today we took a day trip to Colonia, Uruguay, from Buenos Aires.

It is just an hour across the Rio Plata. Colonia is a quaint town, with both Spanish and Portuguese influences, having been occupied by both.

We explored the streets and sampled Chivito, a very substantial sandwich, for lunch.Read more
