Overnight stop in Tiboorurra

Time to hit the road again...overnight stop at Tibooburra (or Tiberoo as Pete calls it) to do some washing and enjoy some air-con before heading to White Cliffs (Opal mining town) for Chrissy Day. Came across an amazing natural waterhole on the way (we decided on the scenic route)...loads of birdlife with a bird-watching hut for people to use. Tibooburra pub was great, everyone was super friendly and the cook was a BFG Islander guy who made enormous meals! Murals have been painted on the walls by some of Australia's most renowned artists- Clifton Pugh, Russell Drysdale, Eric Minchin, Rich Amor walls had been painted I believe it started by an artist who was stuck there for a couple of weeks due to flooding so decided to paint the walls to kill some time.
