Narromine

Stopped here enroute home. Rang my parents to say "hello" and learnt that this is where my father was born! His parents lived in the Police Station residence as my grandfather was the Police constable there at the time. My pop was stationed at lots of outback towns, so we often go and take pics of the Police stations.
Another bit of trivia about the town is that Glenn McGrath a famous Oz cricket player was also born in Narromine and there is a statue in the town park.
There is a great little motel/caravan park outside the town on the Western side. Good place to stop overnight! Czytaj więcej
