Punta Bariloche

Beautiful jagged peaks.
Las Torres backside ; Camp Paine Grande

Paine Grande Camp

The last camp spot for us on our trek. We were greeted with sunshine and lots of wind. The best part of the trek for me was drinking glacier steam water.
On our way to Grey lake lookout.

Last hike, last day. What a great 5 days hiking through Las Torres del Paine.
Los Patos Lagoon

Rad little pristine lagoon.
Grey Lake

The last view from our epic hike. Off in the distance were icebergs which broke from Grey glacier.
Bariloche, 1004 hostel

Made it to the lake district of Argentina. This is the view from the patio at the hostel.
Bariloche bike ride.

Patagonia Brewery, Bariloche

After a good bike ride we decided it was time to soak up some sun and soak up some beers with our bellies. This was hands down the most scenic brewery I've ever been to.
Cascada de los Duendes

Lago Gutierrez, Bariloche

Had a good picnic here with new friends from all over the globe.
Hostel Casona Odile, El Bolson

Rio Azul, El Bolson

La Cumbre de Piltriquitron, El Boson

25km bike (ratty bike with a missing grip and two sizes too small) and hike to the top with 2200m gained. 25 km back down with jello legs. What a gnarly journey that was. Self powered adventure day,Weiterlesen
Bosque Tallado, El Bolson

Beautiful forest turned community art project.
Cajon del Azul

20 km hike and bike to a pristine mountain canyon with deep blue glacier melt running through it.

Our first stop on the Island of Chiloe.
Santiago, Hostal Forestal

Valparaiso, Chile

Made it to the bustling, hilly coastal city of Valparaiso. This place has a slightly feral, gritty vibe to it but it also has a lot of charm. Brightly painted buildings stacked up the hills withWeiterlesen
San Pedro de Atacama, Chile

Gritty, dusty, crusty, dry, windy, and cracked. The Altiplano of Atacama is a weird and interesting place. It sits at 2400m (8000 feet) and is surrounded by volcanos, some still active. The landscapeWeiterlesen
Garganta del Diablo, Atacama, Chile

We rented bikes today with our friends Nick and Andi from SF and rode through the Atacama desert. What a wild and contrasted place.
Tunnel, Atacama, Chile

Ended up riding to this tunnel in the vast desert. It's a surreal place to find a tunnel. I'm still trying to find out the history of the tunnel.
Valle de la Luna, Atacama

The crew took a sand blasted bike ride out into the lunar landscape to watch the sunset.
