Day 235: Ancient City of Sauran

What a amazing adventure to this place! We got a collective taxi to this place and walked around tor 4 hours under the Sun. It is one of the silk road settlement. There were a lot of pottery pieces in this area as they have never excavated the area. Hard to imagine the whole city was here during the ancient period. We felt like we were walking on a desert!

After visiting, we walked to the highway and tried to hitch-hike back to Turkistan. We were so lucky that we met 2 ladies who were kind enough to give us a ride. They even gave us a melon as gift!Read more
