Day 279: Small Goose Pagoda

Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two significant pagodas in Xi’an, the site of the old Han & Tang capital Chang’an. It was built between 707-709. The pagoda stood 45m until 1556 Shanxi earthquake. The earthquake shook the pagoda and damaged it. So that it now stands at a height of 43m with 15 levels of tiers.Read more
